zSummer University, 25th of August 2008
The IBM laboratory in Böblingen, Germany invites students to spend two weeks of their summer break with System z education. The event was first organised in 2006 and has since been repeated every year.
Presentations held by customers, developers, executives, and field engineers provide insight into the various aspects of the mainframe world. Half of the time is dedicated to a workshop that centers on the web services capabilities and the database and data integration features (especially WAS, DB2, IMS, CICS) of this platform.
