Hi Experts,

I am sending a 300K request to IMSConnect using SOAP UI. When i am done processing the request in my IMS DC application program, I am using multiple inserts to divide the whole response message in to chunks of 32763 bytes in my application program. Due to some reason in the 6th, 7th and 8th segment some invalid characters are coming while displaying the response in SOAP UI. SOAP UI is showing the invalid characters as
Code:
 & # 127 ; & # 255 ;
etc. At the end of 6th segment, it is showing
Code:
& # 127 ;
and at the end of 7th segment it is showing
Code:
 & # 127 ; & # 255 ;
. I put display statement in my application program and the messages are displayed without any invalid characters in the mainframe. There are a total of 12 segments and only the 6th 7th and 8th are having invalid characters. The invalid values are appearing towards the very end of the 6th, 7th and 8th segment. I have a perform until loop in my program which treats only the first and last segment differently. Otherwise the processing is same for all the rest of the segments. Can this be an encoding issue? Have any one of you experienced something similar in the past?

Please let me know if you require any additional details.

please note that I included spaces in between the & and # in the above examples because it was not displaying correctly in the forum.

Thanks
